kitno. was founded in 2022 at the Institut für Musik und Medien at the Robert Schumann University of Music Düsseldorf by Sebastian Fecke Diaz, Matthias Erdmann, and Sebastian Wulff.
Their musical focus is in the exploration of possibilities, to expand the sound and space of their instruments using real-time sound synthesis methods, and for this purpose, writing their own programs.
